Ride plate and wedge questions

I have never had a ride plate or wedges before.
I am now playing with them on my 21' TPR tunnel deck. I was told to put the ride plate down a bit and to change my AT droop and diverter. I put an Agresser droop and diverter on and put my plate down 1/8".
Before she was a slug out of the hole, had a hard time rolling over to plane, but she was way dry!! Now she is a rocket out of the hole and rides way wet. Is this the ride plate or the change in nozzel??

duane's right(of course), had to play with mine for a hr. to find the sweet spot.take your gps,angle finder and adjust it till it has the performance your needing. i ran 2 degrees on my 21ft. but it was a v-hull.my 18ft. v-hull likes 2 1/2 degrees,my uncles cp 18ft. tunnel hull likes 3 degrees.
