Doubles OK with a 5th wheel hitch, but triples? I don't think that legal..... There is a total rig length issue also...

YOu are right there is a length you have to stay under the trailer must be a 5th wheel and you need a class A

Pulling a 5th wheel/goosneck and then a bumper pull is doubles. ;)
They do run triples up across I-80 out of Salt Lake City and that's some scary shiznit. By the time you get to that third trailer it's taking up the whole interstate whipping back and forth. :jawdrop:

You need a class A, neither trailer can exceed 28' and the whole rig can be no longer than 65' all together, unless you have a tow vehicle without a bed (like one of those big tow rigs the luvinlifes own), then the total combo can be 75'.

Wouldn't this be doubles? And as far as I know I thought tripples are illegal in California. I think in Nevada and Arizona it's OK.

Up in Oregon they pull triples that must be over 100' long overall. They even pull a pup behind their 55' trailers...crazy shit...and they can drive in the fast lane :jawdrop:

It is legal if you have a class A and I think the first trailer is a fith wheel.

This is true, also if boat and trailer are heavy enough ,brakes are required.

The 5th wheel and the boat trailer must have brakes, I believe...
