Im new to this forum, but would really appreciate some feedback from the boating community. I am very interested in Laveycraft's 24 Nu Era but I dont know anyone who owns one. I took a tour and everything I saw and was told seemed top notch. Anyone here have experience with Lavey?

One of the best. You will be very pleased with the boat, the service, and the re-sale.

I have a 26 NuEra. You can't miss with a LAVEY, they are the best. Jeff, Chris and Shauna must have wrote the book on Customer Service.

I'd have to agree, took care of my issues right away, sent T shirts before getting paid and the boats are way solid.

Lavey is a great boat... You might also consider a 25' Shockwave Tremor
Who knows, maybe the numbers work out better on the 25' ??  :D

This is my third Laveycraft, I think I'm done at the 2750 we just purchased in December at the boat show. Nothing but good comments about this great group of people. I did alot of research on all the west coast builders and I ended up with Laveycraft. Hands down, their at the top of the list when you ask for quality.

Well I was pretty much sold already but you guys have confirmed it for me. They seem like great people and very concerned with customer satisfaction. im going to spend the extra $$$ and go with the HO as Lavey says 70mph should be no problem in the 24 w/ho and more efficient as well..

My kids dad is looking at the 2750. He loves Laveycraft.. and would go with the sabre if insurance wasn't so high. I think once he can afford one he is gonna get one. Very nice looking boats... and very good customer service from what I have heard. Boats are a lil pricey.. but so are everyone elses

I bought a used 24 NuEra, and love it!!! It's the same style they use on current runs (and it cost me just over half the price of a new one  ). In fact, it is the one on their web-site when you look under 24 NuEras! Mine has the open bow w/mid-cabin. Btw, that's not me on the web-site. Mine has a 502 in it, and I'm very pleased w/the handling and perf. May get trim tabs.
Good luck. I've yet to encounter anyone w/a neg. about Lavey. I think they have the best lines out there.
See you on the water.

Here's a couple pics of my 24' Nuera i took a week ago. When I was looking around I found that the Lavey was about 5K cheaper than Ultra. I was able to get the 496HO for the same price out the door as a 24' ultra with a 496mag. Lavey is actually a top notch boat for a price that's less than a lot of the others in the same catagory.

Not trying to start sh*t, but I find it kinda interesting the differences between the recent "Tell me about" Cheetah, Cobra and Laveycraft threads....customers talk and people do pay attention.... :skull:

I agree. Tabs are a good thing to have. I have the 2750 and do use them slightly at higher speeds to stop the chine-walk. Aside from that, a fantastic boat that loves chop and is built like a vault. Very solid. Mine is vacuum-bagged and balsa cored and is on it's 4th season and has no stress cracks at all.
Great folks to deal with and the regattas are really fun.
Can't go wrong with a Lavey, one of the best.

The other cool thing about owning a Lavey is that you get to be on the winning team against Shockwave owners at the Malibu GP Slick Track a couple of times a year!!! ;) :D
We should set it up again soon actually..... :D

We just took delivery of a new 24 w/496ho May 19th. They are great people to deal with and the boat is awesome. The attention to detail, mold, and gelwork is incerdible. The HO is worth the extra $$ and yes it will hit 70 no prob. You will be 110% satisfied for sure.

It was around 72K OTD with cover, bimini and dual batteries. You have to ask for those things cause they want to charge seperate for those items. They included them in the price for us after I hounded them a little bit. Also upgraded the stereo to MP3 and had them pre-wire for subs and amps.
