YEAH, GOOD TIMES. SO WHAT UP WITH LAKE ISABELLA? I HAVE SOME FRIENDS GOING UP THERE IN A FEW WEEKS TO GO MOTORCYCLE RIDING, AND PROBABLY RENT A PONTOON BOAT TO PARTY ON FOR THE DAY. SHOULD I TAKE THE BOAT THERE? I've HEARD SOME STORIES ABOUT CHIMNEYS HIDING JUST BELOW THE SURFACE TO BITE YA IN THE ASS...
ANY ADVICE FOR SOMEBODY THAT's NEVER BEEN THERE?

No chimneys right now! ha ha The water level is up so most of the underwater hazards are gone. But you know as well as I do, you've gotta just keep your eyeballs open. For the most part it's a really nice lake. The wind comes up in the afternoon so the best time for boating is in the morning until about 1 pm then the winds tend to come up and gusts pretty good across the lake. If you come up and bring your boat drop me an email at rkctt5@mchsi.com and maybe I'll see you out there.

Thanks for the motivation. It's 53 and raining here. I think I'll head back out to the garage to work on the boat in a few minutes.

lookin' good man!!!
THANKS, Jim. :) :) :)
PYRAMID AIN't BAD IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU're GETTING INTO. ALOT OF ******** WAKEBOARD BOATS THAT COULDN't FIND THEIR ASS WITH BOTH HANDS. THEY'll RUN TEN FEET OFF THE BACK OF YOUR BOAT WHILE IT's TIED OFF IN A COVE, PULLING A BOARDER.
FOR WHAT WE DID, IT WORKED OUT FINE. GET THERE ABOUT 7, LAUNCH, AND GET OFF THE LAKE BY NOON. IF YOU HAVE A LOW FREEBOARD BOAT, THAT's THE SMARTEST THING TO DO. WE GOT THERE ABOUT NINE, AND MISSED SOME GOOD WATER IN THE MORNING, BUT WE GOT AWAY WITH IT.
AS FAR AS BEER IS CONCERNED, LIKE ANYTHING... KEEP IT MELLOW, AND THERE SHOULDN't BE A PROBLEM.
