While you jerky boys were playing on the internet, ole HH went to Catalina.
Going over yesterday afternoon was pretty brutal- no big swells, but it was such a washing machine, that the water was tough to read (whitecaps). Hope the drives hold up from those unexpected launches... :supp:
Hey KROOZIN...remember these days?

Actually, I have three...
...but the other two are blurry. :(
Heading out for a "three hour tour"...

I would have gotten some video, but I was constantly working the sticks and wheel. Coming back today was much nicer...just a few larger swells from a couple cruisers and the Flyer.

You DCB guys are always looking for more ways to use a zip-tie.
Actually, I brought my portable GPS too so I could mark some waypoints for my friends who have DCBs (since they never have GPS).

When my credit card company calls me because they think someone stole my card (because there's no way anyone can really need $400 worth of gas from one station)...I'll take whatever you can spare.

I launched out of Back Bay in Newport (Mrs. HH likes to dream of living in some of those "houses")...saw the Terribles toys- must be rough.
Also met a guy from Speedwake who ws demoing his new 38' Scarab. He bought it here, and is paying over $4K to ship it back east.
Saw a 46' Cig Rough Rider (with triples) in the parking lot, as well as a guy washing his (very nice) Outerlimits w/sixes.

Maybe the 55? Yeah...we were a little late since we wanted to be at Catalina by noon. :hammer2:
Note to self: the later you launch, the rougher it may be.

3PM? I think it was more like 4PM by the time we left the harbor...but who's counting.
Why does she put up with me? I bet if she sobered up one day, she may be able to answer that question.
