Addictive game: UltraBlock

The sound effects annoy me. I got to Level 18 with 17 rows left and a highscore of 79440. I'm pretty sure I'm going back for more sonic abuse and try to beat my high. :notam: :D Best feature is pause/resume button. :cool:

I like the bombs cuz they clear all the blocks of the same color. Saved me from losing sooner many times! :D Why those sound effects though? :mad: Interferes with my music so much I gave up playing any. :( I looked for a way to toggle game sounds off and couldn't find any. I e-mailed them to ask and no answer back yet. :rolleyes:

I'm beginning to dislike them little skulls though. :burningm: I seem to see a lot of them when the game gets faster and the rows shift before I can click where I intended. :notam: Isn't it odd that I LIKE this game? :idea: :D

I'm addicted to that game also but the sound thing is a bit of a deterrent for me. I downloaded trialware called SuperCollapse. :D It's pretty much same game but way more perks. Sounds and music can be turned off for one thing. :cool: Since it's try-before-you-buy, though, you can only open the program 9 times and each session is also limited to 4 plays- then you gotta exit and re-open to keep playing. :notam:
I haven't gived up on Ultra-Block at all; just need a break from the audio assault sometimes! :D
