Great looking lake, and boat. The motor is wild looking as well! Interesting to see if the Illmor growa in popularity.

It will be interesting to see the duration of the motors. Wonder how many hours they are good for?

My buddy said for me to put a hundred or so hours on it then try twin water cooled tubos....low boost....maybe 5psi. Till then I am just going to enjoy it stock. We were running right at 80 with 5 kids, wife, me and 100 gallons of fuel. Handled the rough TN waters perfect;)
Thanks RO for posting the pics.....I thought we would have already been on the water.... I guess we'll be there by noon.... try to get some pics of it running in the lake...oh and me :2purples: :2purples: :2purples: :2purples: :2purples:

You're welcome! Just got the word for a 11:30 lunch  But after that it's a "Long" 5 minute run to the ramp (Which will have no lines, fees, noise police, etc... :D ) and off to a day of boating :D

Yes...even though I am not a boater, I did notice. I believe it could be a polished Sportmaster?
However, you are the one commenting on another guy's junk...not me.

does the motor have a nice sound to it-? I always thought Cobra's sounded
like a weird 6cyl motor with no exhaust.....
and I already know that the viper hits on 2 cyl's at the same time. hence
the 5-cylinder sound..........
now, if they would make a full rotational crank and cam for it, a v-10 would
make that "ferrari-type" sound................ which is bitch'n...............
(looking for link to that formula 1 shop video of the motor run-up)

the word "Badass" comes to mind. I dig it....like a Indy car on the water. Very distinct.

I talked to a guy at Ilmor, just asking questions about their stuff and I asked if I would be able to supercharge it. The guy said he highly reccomends not to.
