Well here is what it looked like before.

I helped him put his original railing back on. Also I would like to give a big "thank you" to Nucking Futs on the boards. He gave my dad a good deal on his old windshield which my dad has been searching for. Here it is as of an hour ago...

I personally like the first pic all shaved clean, but hey...it isnt a racer and he doesnt really race it, he mashes it as fast as it will go and that is great for everyone, it is reliable and has all the bells and whistles. I told him "It looks like a grandpa boat" he said "I am a grandpa" heh, he got me there. What do you guys think?

Hey...there is nothing wrong with the railing... The only reason I shaved the windshield was I couldnt get a replacement for a decent price. I like the retro look.

One last thing we are doing is switching the pedal, the POS foot just isnt cutting it, I have a nice polished hall craft I pulled from the parts boat and it is going on.

It was cracked when I bought the boat, the previous owner had it duct taped to gether. I took it off and threw it away then I found out how much it was to make one without a template. So I had the hols filled when the Gel was redone.

We actually got into boating at the same time, around 10 years ago, it was dirt bikes before that.

Thats not a bad price... when Iwas looking to get mine done it was $600-700 for a new one without a template.

wow. This guy has the template, I think it might have been who Eliminator used. He did tell my dad come down on Saturday and I will give it to you for $300 out the door, tax free.

yes, I will ask my dad if he still has it. If not, I would try calling Eliminator and telling them you need a windshield, then they will most likely tell you to call him too.

I got dibs on that foot pedal if you don't want it anymore.. :) :)
I've been looking for one for another project I have. ;) Do you want to sell it?

Hi Dave,
I am sure he would be willing to part with it. Maybe he will see this post, if not I will talk to him tonight.

No problemo, as much as he hates it, he would be glad to get rid of it...he just needs to cut a little bit off this hall craft pedal to make it fit.

Some place in Banning I think, it was done right before he bought the boat, they even widened the front seats, they are like recliners.
