Post some pics, people!
I've got one project but it's slow going, and it's looked liked this for quite some time now :) It'll be bad someday!

Djunkie, cool golf cart, that thing should fly  Is it pretty loud with the gas motor?
Its quieter than the original motor was. Has a cool V-Twin sound to it. The old motor sounded like the autotopia cars at Disneyland. :D

I'm not sure how I should make the dash. I was thinking about a recessed gps unit in the middle and gauges in front of the steering wheel. But I'm not sure now.

I picked this up two weeks ago for a project. It'a 1966 Nova with a blown 427 big block. It runs and drives, just needs to be finished and make some changes. Should be a fun street car when it's done.

I picked this about three weeks ago for a desert truck. Going to make a couple of changes, make a tire rack for the back, new seats, new seat belts and redo the dash and gauges. It's caged front to back with a three link set up in the rear. The truck is a lot wider then stock and pulls a lot of travel...

Now that's funny.
Does he remember who schooled him on the driving range? Nope.
Does he remember who outdrove him on most of the holes? Nope.
Does he remember the one time I mis-hit the tee shot, and he drove past me? You bet.
I guess that's typical from a DCB guy. Doesn't ever remember getting passed...but always remembers the one time he passed someone.
I guess I should go easy on him, though...considering he just came out of the closet an admitted he's moving into the "love shack" with another guy.

Im looking hard at one. Updating from a 04 crf450. I had all 3 yzfs-400,426,450-then went red and Im not sure I can leave just yet. Ive ridden 06 crf & Kxf-just not Yami yet-so let me know your thoughts. I Mostly ride moto except for after days like today.
Thanks
I've always been a yami person, everything has always been one. Rode a 06 yami 450 then decided to go with the 06 crf 450, just liked the ride a lil better. Just my .02.

that is awesome. so what do you plan on towing with that? 45 foot triple engined Donzi??
I got a 81 650 standup, on a 8.5' trailer, but the trailer has no brakes so I wanted something that would stop it...
Also have another boat being built that is still nine months out that is more suited for this truck to pull... :)
Thanks for the compliments, can't wait for the truck to be done.

Caterpillar 7.2 300hp/860lb torque
Allison 3000 5 speed
Just ordered the front axle and transfer case for the 4x4. Will have about 14" lift and will be sitting on 54s. Will still be able to tow 60,000#s while lifted :D .

What yardage are you going to give me when I hit the back net (halfway up) at Meadowlark?
The "unbiased judge" better not be a DCB owner.
when you say "The back nets" you must be referring to the ones on the left and right of that range, cause those are the one you hit almost every drive... no rhyme or reason, it's almost like watching a ping pong match seeing you at the range

I don't think you (or your plastic/infant club set) could even reach the side net? Either way...since you are so big and bad, I'm sure you won't mind spotting me a few strokes, right?
BTW...the "forgot your wallet in the car" excuse won't fly this time.

Man that would be a nice Chevelle to have. A 66 Convertible SS is worth some money today! And it would be as hell to drive on a nice sunny day. I know so many people that sold cars and are sorry everyday they sold. I fixed up a 92 full size when that was the craz in the mid 90's. It was my first real nice car after high school......... it is still sitting in my garage.

I have always grown up around classics and it is killing me that I don't have one right now. Currently my dad and I are fixing up two cars. We have a '59 Vette and a '57 T-bird that we are playing with. Both cars should be up and running by the summer.
When those get done, dad just picked up a basket case '57 Bel-Air convertible that we will start on.

Dave C
01-05-2006, 11:14 AM
that is the way I bought it. Needs lots of work. Its gonna be a track car. I am not sure how practical it will be on the street, too low. However I may still register it.
But its got the goodies, full one-piece tube chassis & cage, Adjustable a-arms, four link, motor pushed backed 6 inches, funny car cage, NHRA cert., etc.
The entire car was put on a diet. It should be 2200 lbs without any more lightening.
Once I get the motor and trans mounted, the cage and car will be painted.
given my work schedule it will probably never be done.
BTW andy01, I like that nova of yours

Thanks Andy,
The motor is actually a fastburn 385, it has the cam upgrade and misc. goodies, so it should be about 450 hp? I didn't use a big block because I was going more for the light weight/handling/touring route, not so much for a drag car.

A Willys wagon body fits almost perfectly on a $1500 78 or 79 Bronco. 78 & 79 Broncos came with a Dana 44 front and 9" rear and a C6 trans and NP205 transfer case. All good hardware. Not to mention they came with coil spring front susp. The 400ci engine is worthless. You can find wagon bodys for $600....I even sold the Willy chassis for $1300.
