Vodkarocks, It was good meeting you too. Susann and I had a great time. Our friends that were sitting on the boat with us, the night we were all talking, want to buy a boat now. It was there first experience boating with the, shall we say, larger boats.
We were pretty lucky with our parking spots, weren't we?

The Regatta was alot of fun I believe there was close to 140 boats?
We had a great time and met alot of cool people.(We ended up only making it to 3 of the Poker stations since we tied up to the 34' Magic at stop 3 and they were kind enough to whip us up some tasty pina colada's/Mud Slides with there gas blender)
We almost got into a squabble friday evening when we returned from a great day on the lake and found 2 boats in our spot. The funny part was one of the boats was using our spike and tie rope.
We worked around it and ended up having a good laugh about it later on in the weekend.
On another note the hydralic's for our drive took a crap mid day saturday and we had to be towed in.(Clue and the rest of the magic/sleek crew were kind enough to come over to the beach and help us get the drive up so we could get the boat back on the trailer and tow it to the shop for service)
Big thanks to the super cool cover in the yellow/green 28' Enforcer that were gratious enough to give us the tow.
I hope to have pictures up tommorow.

I kept wanting to walk over and introduce myself but it seemed like everytime I had a chance you were starting that monster up and backing off the beach.
It'a not like you haven't heard it before but your boat is beyond SICK!!!
Was that your new tow rig in the parking lot?(All the girls in our group wanted one of those rigs pretty bad)

Cole, is that why you had to park your boat out there off the shore? Some people were very rude, parking in others spots. I am suprised there weren't any ass beatings. By the way, your boat looked great.

I thought you had the #2 poker hand.
I was number 3 for $750. Now if I could only parlay that into about $170,000 I would love to buy one of those 30 ft decks. That boat is awesome.

We parked right in the middle of the mess the first night and came out in the morning to find the boat next to us gone and our boat floating free disconected from our sand spike?
We decided it might be a better idea if we stayed away from the mess the second night.(There was 3 boats trying to park in an area that would barely hold 2)
To say that both myself and the owner of the HTM were alittle nervous about the parking was an understatement..
Thanks for the compliment!
I saw you when they were doing the photo and going through the outskirts of the channel.I thing we threw the double shocker!!!!!
Did you score anything good at the banquet?

Thanks!! You should have stopped me. I was trying to remember what everyone's boat looked like from the boards, which I am normally really good at, but nothing was coming to mind and remembering what they all looked like.
Now looking at eveyone's rides in theor sigs, I remember seeing all of them now.
If you are talking about the white Chevy 4500 in the parking lot, yes that was me. I had a great time as always, next time, I want to meet everyone!
If anyone got anything from Billet Boyz or the Dri Wash 'n Guard product line, let me know if you have any questions. I gave out a ton of stuff at the dinner.

Thanks, but some changes to the truck are on the way.
No on the 4th, staying local here in Phoenix. I took my toyhauler to the marina last month and it's in the RV resort there, so I'm doing the weekend at Pleasant here in the Phoenix area.

As much as I can. I took my toyhauler out there for Memorial Day and we loved it (RV park and then just walk down to the boat in a slip) so I am keeping out there and I try to make a weekend out of it whenever I can. We'll be out there all weekend for the 4th, might head out this Saturday afternoon and Sunday as well. For sure the entire 4th weekend though.

I don't drink much on the boat... but I'm good for 1 or 2. Baby will be on and off all weekend. Sunday and Monday, I think we might be "baby free" because the inlaws are taking her home. Saturday night will be a cluster for me. The wife invited both sets of parents and friends for the fireworks out on the water. :hammerhea

And this is how your perfect day gets f#&ked up. :( I came back from the banquet Sat. night to find these four deap scracthes (all the way to the glass) on the side of my boat. The guy next to me caught a wind gust and nailed my boat. He came right over and appologized and is paying for everything to be fixed. Still not how we wanted to end a fun weekend.. :frown:
