Directions to cottonwood from laughlin

Well I finally convinced the family to go to cottonwood cove instead of the crowded katherines landing. This will be our first trip there. How do you get there from laughlin? Anybody know of any nice coves up there with a sandy beach? we will be up there for 4th of July. Thanks

its really easy---
go North on Casino Drive (assuming you are staying in a casino) to SR163. Take a left. follow the 163 for about 20 miles to the 95 (to searchlight). follow into searchlight and take a right on cottonwood cove dr. follow til it ends..
great place to launch...
if you have boat trouble, which i did on saturday, ask for bill in the dry storage/service area... good guy.
