It's demo days based out of the Bluewater. Probably going to be just up from the sandbar, in front of those beaches just north of the Bluewater Marina. Their U-Turns at the south end might affect us though. :squiggle:

I use these, the beauty of them is that you can fill them with booze them blow them up and use them as boat fenders, should be perfect for this little get together called OP6C...

They actually work really well, since I don't have a ginormeous boat I can use all the extra space available, I inflate them when needed and let the air out to store them, knock on wood so far no issues... BTW, I haven't tried the Booze in the Fender thing, they just remind me of a Bota Bag from my Downhill skiing days...

Are you sure that there's a Wake-board event down there this weekend?
I just got my weekly Marine Event update from the Coast Guard and they say that there have been NO permits issued for the Parker Area.
No permit........ No Wake.

That would be great news. If they are there, I'm calling the cops! Can you enforce down there??? I though I read you didn't really mess with CRIT territory??
OH, and if the permit is issued does that mean I can hit it as soon as I am out of their marina? Or is it only for boats in the competition/demo event???

We CAN enforce laws down there is we want to or have to. And, no. Only boats registered in whatever event they're having can operate under the permit, so you can't blow out of there.
I don't think we'll do anything is they are conducting an unpermitted event. But what I will do is call the Coast Guard, and advise them what they're doing. That could have a big impact on whether future events permits are issued.
I don't know if I'll be out there or not this weekend. If it's anything like today, probably not. When it hits 116 it's too damn hot to boat.
