Sounds like monsoon season to me!
I remember many times cruising Havasu in the heat and BAM, rain and hail and cold. A few minutes later, like it never happened!

Not that late...sometimes in a bad year it can get into August a bit but not normally.
Sept IMO is absolutely the best month out on the lake. Water is warm, kids are back in school, still very warm air temp...can't beat it.

As long as your boat and property are secure they can be awfully fun :) Being caught in a bad one on the lake can be disasterous though :(
We were driving boat in tow. :2purples: Scary stuff. But you are right fun to watch when you have 4 walls around you. :)

We're in Havi this week and it's "August in June" weather....HOT & humid...119 on Wed....the lake was "glass" all morning. Went to the Springs for lunch and got blown off the lake around 3p...no rain though...It's pretty breezy right now lookin' out the back door...

doubt it will hit 119. So far yesterday was the hottest day this year in Havasu. 116. Supposed to cool down a couple degrees the next few days.
