Not me, that deal was all Jamie.. I had a few beers so Jamie was the one driving.
In retrospect we should've just taken someone down to get the trailer, but the water was a bit rough, and in the wakeboard boat I was kinda figuring.. Well hell it ain't going to take that much longer to tow it when your averaging 15- 20 mph anyways.. LOL

it was no problem helping a fellow boater/friend out we know you would do the same for anyone else.
It was great seeing you and the mrs. again. Hopefully we can have another weekend with better circumstances.
Good luck with the boat and look at the bright side your crew is all o.k and the boat can be fixed.
Charmaine. :)

Weather cleared up.. LOL You drove right by us about 10' away in the float and I even yelled out hello but you didn't hear me.
Not too many people recognize the crew in the Swanger (aka Low Profile boat).

I've always been told with outboards you can't run em at low/constant RPM's for extended lengths of time? Even the EFI 300X's start fouling plugs and develop some serious problems on a 3 hour tour?

Who said anything about low rpms??? When I dropped my lower unit by the dam coming back from breakfast at the springs, I headed all the way back into the Nautical on one engine and it was running 3500 rpm or so. No cocktail cruise that time. Mine gets it's fair share of idle time but I'm also running NGK iridium plugs that aren't as susceptable to fouling as the champion garbage that came with it. ;)

Did you get it on plane with one motor? he was trying too, but amongst the motor he also broke the tunnel tab on the back.

Nope. I could have kept in on plane with one engine but had no idea at the time what was going on with the other one so I stopped to see what was going on. Tunnel tab or no, you'll never get that boat on plane with only one engine. The little outboards just don't have enough oooomph working alone.

WTF? He either needs a driving lesson or that tub hops way too much? He also ripped the gimbal out of the other boat.Whats the deal?

I was told to run on one motor for a long time was hard on the one motor. The prop shaft on the right motor didn't turn to freely afterwards. We'll see how long it stays together.
On another note the motors are out of warranty by a couple of days I wonder how merc. is going to handle this...
