Who knows the inner workings of a timeshare???
Ebay has some pretty cheap floating/red timeshares for a resort in argentina. But, of course i dont want to go to argentina if this resort is RCI... can these things be traded for a week (holiday or not) in say lake havasu resort??

Time shares have always confused me (even though we have a couple). One of ours is RCI and we use it for Havasu all the time. Havasu Dunes is a member of RCI. If we have the time we'll use the time share, but it's for a week at a time. If not we can still stay at the Dunes for a weekend but it's just like paying for a nice hotel. Sometimes we'll get discounted rates though since we're a member.
