Jetters in Laughin for the 4th?

Well, whos gonna be up in Laughlin for the 4th? Where should we meet? I like the river between Avi and Needels. Some real nice beaches down there too. I will be playin V-drive (keepin the boat on the trailer) on Sat, I am gonna be on a friends boat and goin up to Hoover dam. But I will be out runnin the piss out of my boat Sun and Mon. We are staying till Tues.

I will be out there from July 2nd to July 9th. I will be hanging at Mohave and Topock for at least a couple of those days. For the rest of the days I will be between Needles and Big Bend. Avi sounds fun for Sunday just make sure you don't get caught in the middle of the firecracker pit.

I am 1 mile up from the Needles bridge. I have a picture from the water I will try and post. The beaches right accross the river from me are really awesome. They are very spacious and lots of soft sand... not rocky at all. It takes me about 15 mins to get to AVI and 2 hours to float back to my house.

The community is called Nielsens resort. My house is right behind the really cool ones on the water but still cool anyway and Brand New. Yes that is Budlights boat.

Roost usually Launches at Lazy Harrys !!!
I usually launch at Rotory Park and meet them up thier or down at the beach.

I launch at Harry's... it's only a block away from the shack. There's no real plan, we just putt around in the morning getting chores done, start packing up stuff and wind up on the water around 1-2pm. That gives the lake lice plenty of time to start taking each other out, and head back to the beach.
Glass Beach is far enough away from Avi and Rotary that the PWCs aren't really that thick. Nice beach to throw up the EZup and relax.

Those maps are great Mike. I had no idea the river curved that much. At least it didnt seem like it when I was on it last year. Is that off of an internet site, or a program you have? That is handy. Oh, and by the way, I have to work on the 4th, so no river for me. You guys have fun. :mad:

Tim's right. There are 3 jurisdictions in this area. Bullhead police, Arizona fish and game, and Nevada fish and game. This isn't the weekend to draw attention to yourself. I know you were just kidding, but everyone needs to keep in mind that it's going to be ALOT busier on the water, and LEO will have their hands full. Save the adult beverages till later, and think defense.

Well we just got back from the River, Ms78Southwind and I had a great time. Special thanks …..goes out to Bruce (Squeezing Spectra) for fixing my boat on such short notice. I took my boat to Bruce late Wednesday and he had the heads back together by Friday. I think I made a lot of boaters happy I didn’t have to use the back up plan. :D
Nice to see the rest of the jetter gang Danhercules and Amy, Imagine That, and Slider, Nucking Futs and Lana, Victorfb and BonnevilleBaby, and Squirtin Thunder and Family. Also it was nice to finally meet Roost, Shelley and family thanks for the hospitality Roost. I didn’t get to meet BadBahner hopefully next time Eric.
Ok who has the pictures I brought my camera but somehow it never made it to the boat. I would really like to have a copy of Dan break dancing on his Southwind. Futs you got that one?
