The number on the transom is the HIN(Hull Identification Number). What are the first three letters? They indicate the manufacturer.

That is indeed a "GT Boats" hull. Although I dont think they build boats anymore, the shop is still in business. They are located in Cordelia, California which is right where Highway 680 and Interstate 80 meet. You can see the shop from Hwy 680. Might give them a call and see if you can get more info about your boat. The owner's name is Dave Bostrom. Nice guy.

Chad, Those Gt hulls where supposed to be pretty good hulls. I thought they had the gas tank under the deck? We where just talking to Dave at Gt about his boats. There's one for sale at his shop. Did you get your motor running again?

Hey Chad: I told you.. That your boat was not a Tahiti... Myself and the little women had a great time with you and your Wife. Your video was kick ass I watched it about 10 times on the big screen. All your hard work paid off with your boat. Hey who said Panthers can't keep up??????

Ah ha. Last time I was out there(year or so ago) he was talking about selling the business. Glad it went to a local hot boater.
