Stay as far away as I can from Havazoo and the low lifes that seem to have invaded the real boaters lake the past few years. I think that some just jump a ride with NO money and bum beer then riss in the channel and throw the cans at their feet.

Staying away from touristy areas, kick it at home with friends and family, catch a fireworks show from the back yard...3 to choose from :D

Down to Havasu and sitting on the beach watching all the crazies during the weekend. We will be down until after the Fourth and it calms down real nice then.
We usually do this on big weekends, stay off the lake until the holiday is over. After the fourth, we will launch and have a great time. Of course if they are having the fireworks in Thompson Bay, we will go there that night, but I'm not sure if they are this year since the Pirotechnics weekend was out at Sally Field. Anbody know for sure where the fireworks will be? :cry:

We're going to Havasu but not for the weekend. We can only go up Monday the 4th thru Wednesday the 6th. A short trip is better than nothing. :)

We're leaving tomorrow (Tuesday) night. Going to be on the water thru Friday, then hangin by the pool for the weekend. Probably find a spot in the dunes near the Refuge to watch the fireworx.

Read this thread & the one about the 4th. check in for a location. I'm really not sure which cove it is, but it can't be that hard to find. About a minute from Crazy Horse.
I know Supreme's Dad. His place is right across mine at the Islander.

Powell, baby I'm taking my 2 year old so we'll be a little mellow but if anyone sees us come say hi. always cold beer. Had some puter problems so no pick of boat but, its a DCB 25 eagle white with a red lightning bolt. we put in at Bullfrog and usually camp mid lake to get away from the yahoo's. we usually make it down to Wahweep once in awhile

Taking a break from boating and getting our mid summer sand fix in. Leaving Saturday morning for 7 days in Saint Anthony Dunes in Idaho. For anyone that's never been, the best dunes period. Nice summer temps, around 80 high and 40's at night. :messedup:
