Leaving SCV this weekend!!!! Can't wait. The wife and myself with a big groupa friends, 3 RV's and three boats for the week. That's what I call a vacation.
We've never gone as far as Overton's, so, whats the best way to get there?
Through Vegas, I-15, then what? I-15/93 on up? 167? 169?
Trying to stay clear of any major mountain passes, so I wonder how windy the 167 is. The straight shot looks like the 15 to the 169 through VOF.
HELP?!

I have stayed there. You should have a great time with all the people.. It can get quiet there which is nice..
About the diections. I would hate to give you the wrong ones.. Look online and you will get better ones.

The best way to get there is to stay on the 15 go through vegas and get off 169 to the 167. This is the easiest way. You can also go through the Valley of Fire, but is has a lot more turns and is narrower.

Thanks! According to the Google maps, 15 to the 169 looks like the slick trick. Now, 169 to 167? According to the map, the 169 dead-ends into the 167, and there seems to be a small HWY going straight where the 169 would continue.
Are you saying at the 167 take the right and then follow it to the next cutoff?
