Hey guys, yes I am a newbie, and trying to learn the lingo.
whats the difference between a place diverter and a jet-a-vator?
This probably sounds stupid to you all but it is confusing the heck out of me.
Thanks

a jet-o-vator is an older adjustable nozzle built by Berkley. A Place Diverter is a newer style adjustable nozzle made by the Place family.

my boat has a hydraulic pump that raises or lowers the thrust angle of the pump discharge nozzle. It is on a Berkely model? j-a pump assembly. I can find no manufacturing name on it........so what the heck is it?
