Ya I've got a bone stock 454 mag right now. I was thinking of making it a 496 with a good set of heads. Don't want to kill my bravo though so I got to be careful I don't get carried away.

I actually just picked my new World Products Merlin III block this morning. Patiently I am awaiting the arrival of the crank, rods, and pistons for the botom end. The Carribean is getting a 540 BBC with a blower. Hopefully, Travis, it will be on the water by August...with somewhere in the neighborhood of 800hp. Hell yeah!

Glad that you aren't getting rid of the motor. What do you think the Crownline will run with the newfound ponies?

Well I talked to the Crownline gooru..And he says 70 MPH
just depends on what rpm I wish to spins...5000-5300 F8s (props)
or 5300-5600 F7s...I can get a set of F7s right know for $700.But the friggin F8s are going to hit me for $1300....WHat to do what to do.....I am not worried about the motor...HP drops off at about 5300 but I am not sure how the Drive will do at 5500 Rpm???????????????????????????
