We Were Towing Our Daughter Who Was About 5 At The Time In A Tube Like That And She Got Big Air.... Mom Was Ready To Jump Out Of The Boat After Her..... I Was Freaked But The Kid Was Laughing So Hard And Asking To Be Towed Some More.... Gotta Love It.

Saw one of those things this weekend down in BLythe. BADA$$ is all I can say. Going into the wind he would be up a good 30 feet. BUt going with the wind it did not look like they could even get it to float. There was a nice steady breeze say 5-10 MPH and this guy would fly the tube for a good quarter mile. The video makes it look easy, but from what I saw this guy doing it looked hard. The tube would bend in the middle and the guy on the tube would have to throw his back to the left or right to balance it out. It looked like a good work. Saw him eat s*&T once while up in the air. It looked like he got tossed because he was rolling down into the water.
They are rated for up to 200 pounds and since my buddies and I are well over that so we came up with a thought. Make one just like it but way bigger say 15x20 feet. It would be called the FAT MAN FLIER.

I would have thought that guy would have bailed a little sooner. He was up there.
Hitting the water at speed from like 20+ feet...ouch
I have seen the new Bat Wing deal on the strip many times. Once a gal had it in the air for what seemed like a 1/4 mile.
My kids were on me for a month to get one until I found out the price.

oh but the fun surpasses the cost of them. My daughter would much rather be towed around on that than be waterskiing.
