Took The Blower Off

And decided on this new look for the Cougar.
I broke EVERYTHING in the driveline running the blower and injection so I thought I would try something different. Prop shaft, prop, rudder and driveshaft all broke within 3 weeks due to too much HP. So I'm thinkin instead of upgrading all that stuff (buying again) it's all still new. I will tone the HP down a bit and just spin it 8,000 RPM.
So I give the engine a few more cubes, a bit more compression, new cyl heads, T&D shaft rockers to live at big RPM's and maybe the boat will survive.
Soo... I'm putting this thing together. Edelbrock tunnel ram and 2 Alcohol carbs I got cheap off of e-bay. Still fitting it up. Will look a bit different this year.
And NO I'm not selling the blower and injection.

Seriously though. I was gonna kill myself or my son. And I only had 4 races in three full seasons. Nobody would race unless they brought out their race boat. I'm thinkin I will have more fun lake racin even though it will be slower.

And to think most of us don't try to go slower :2purples: :2purples: its just because wqe break things mid season :eek: :( :mix: :burningm: :burningm: and just use what we have to finish the year. :D :D
