I gotta admit, that boat is a great lake boat----takes rough water and you won't get wet----and takes horsepower well also----glad to see it back on the water-----now take it to lake medina and wake up the locals!!!

I finally got her wet. The boat runs good, handles waves like they are not there. I GPSed it and got 90 MPH with 95 degree weather and about 50% humity. Is that pretty good

Roger, what impeller are you running and how many rpm's ???
blondebomber

it's an A impeller and I'm turning 5900 that is if my tach is right. I'm only running 7psi on the motor.

when David had that boat , I believe he was at about 16# of boost to get over 100 mph with B&M 420 blower, don't remember too much on the motor specifics( 468 ? ) , but it was not radical at all and I have no idea what impeller he had, wish I could help ya more.....there was another "evil twin " to that one in Three Rivers , belonged to Rodney > ran over 100mph with pretty much same boost levels and mild 509BBC@ 6500 / so I would think ya still got some left untill you get her tuned correctly
ps; I bet that tilt steering comes in handy with the Beer Gut :p
