No real history, but its been for sale for along time.I was interested in it along with others from here.Get ahold of Keith Sayre at Conquest,he knows more. The owner doesnt need the cash from what Ive found out,so he doesnt really care if it sells or not.

Is this the boat that was setting on Palo Verde South a few years back? It was setting on a diffrent trailer at that time and the price was very reasonable.

I looked at the boat in Havasu about a month ago. It seemed like a nice boat but he wanted more than I was willing to pay.

Here's the real scoop on it, the guy is from Colorado and is your basic workaholic. If he sells it fine, if not, he'll keep it.
Like Charley says, it's worth every penny of $85,000. Most of these boats
have a Myco yucko aluminum trailer, this one is a real trailer painted nicely,
this boat has the $20,000+ plus paint job. It has about $10K in stereo.
It's in new condition--never been in the salt. Call me for more info and photos. it's mint.

i'll tell you one thing .... it looks pretty cool chilling there with the american stars & stripes whipping in the wind .... with all of this patriotic bull-s hit that's been going lately :argue: . but nice hull, kinda funcky colors though, i don't know if i could ever get used to those colors - keyes
i actually thought the colors and graphics look great.

The majority of the people do like the paint scheme, definately one of the better looking Spectres out there.

The porpoise goes away above 75 or so. My 28 Skater has the same porpoise, I believe the window is a little smaller in the Skater but not by much. The spectre will out perform the DCB in just about every category other than Bling......but that spectre has that too!!

This boat has about a 10 mile per hour gap that it will hop, nothing bad! I rode in one all summer and ran the poker run in one! The paint looks great, but it will get hot, anyone who has ever been in a 30' Spectre know most of your time if tied up is spent on the deck! Awesome boat, I also know of another one for sale locally if interested PM me!

so a boat that porpoises in a turn is a better performer than one that doesn't? There is more to a boat's performance than it's top speed with 2 blenders on the back.... That aside this is still a steal on this boat

These boats run great in Rough water. If the water is smooth...lookout here comes flipper! :rollside:

It's all in how you drive it. Smooth water does suck and you can't trim it out and let it run. Add a foot or two of chop, tuck it in until about 75 or so, then trim it out and it won't porpoise on you at all. Just gets up on top and runs. We were the second boat out of 20 in our heat to the card stop at the poker run on Saturday. I had full tanks and 5 guys in the boat and we were running in a washing machine. Bounced off 100 a couple times though. The boat that was in front of us was a 30' HTM with big power and he was running really loose. Wanted no part of playing with him. If this one doesn't work out I know where one is sitting in pretty much the same price range. It's a kick to drive a boat like this. I have a blast every time I take mine out.

thanks for the info. thats what i was lookin for.
Are you talkin about the "x-rated" spectre?
there are some nice painted ones back east also. What r u paying for insurance and who do ya use or recommend?
Thanks,
Danny

Can't go wrong with Spectre.

That would be the one. It's a light layup which I am sure just offsets the stereo and all the other goodies in the boat. :D :D :D
I've got mine insured through Allstate and it's cheap compared to some of the other cats out there. Hell, it was cheaper than a Cig that I was looking at before I bought this one.

Dirtracer: please be reminded if I didn't mention it already, the boat that you
asked about has never been in salt water and neither has the trailer. It's
probably the cleanest 5 year old boat I've ever seen.
