comming to LOTO Shootout need info !!!

I will be out in Aug for the LOTO Shootout ,has anyone here ran in it ?? how long a course, how many times do you run,what is the elivation there,air denisity,etc .anything will help me prepare for this . Thanks !!!

do a search on "Shooters 21 Lake shootout" and you should get most of your info. as for elevation and density. you might call the lake area and talk to some marinas or mechanics. if you need numbers I can get them for you.

Good luck..........if you don't run 200 mph don't expect to win Top Gun. If you don't run 100 mph in a 30+ foot boat, don't expect to win. If you are going to run, bring $25 per run, I think for Saturday. Can't rember what Sunday costs. I have more fun watching on Sunday. That is the day that counts.

My boat is a Datona 26 and can do a bit more than 100 mph. Do you know what won this class last year ( Blown sgl eng cat 26 ft) I can't find a list of last years winners and there speeds . Thanks for the info !
