My buddy has an awesome Sanger Jet Hydro he want's to sell, due to the fact that he already has a blown Campbell 24 and a 50 footer for Mexico. I thought that I would put it up here for him, before Ebay. Boat is a '78, Completly restored in the Fall of '04. It's only been in the water twice since completion. If anyone is looking for this type of boat, you should see this thing in person. It is a VERY cool, unique boat, right down to the totally custom trailer. I am going to get some killer pics next week. You can also go to bigalsrv.com and look in gallery under boats. There are a few pics, but their not very good. He is looking to get $10900 out of it. Like I said, it's worth seeing in person if your looking for a killer river boat. If interested, shoot me a PM, and I'll get you in contact w/the owner directly. Spam over.

The thing looks cool ... but I don't know how it would perform. Houw would you blow the tail to get it to run right? On jets, you need the tail in the water, but a Hydro needs the tail out to run fast ...
Clean boat though! a definate head turner!

Thx for putting a pic up. Next week I will get good pics. I'm telling you, It's a bad-ass boat for the money. For the guy who wonders how it works, I've seen super jets running around here and there for years. Everyone who I ever spoke with, who had one, loved it.

How is that blowing the tail??? You have as much of the back of your boat in the water as any other tunnel jet. I still don't get it.

Squirtin Thunder,First of all that`s not carrying the nose again , :hammerhea that`s ticking the water with the nose. Look closer at the water line following the sponson. It`s working just like I designed it too.
steelcomp, if you cant see the tail out of the water then I cant explain it to ya. A tunnel jet would have booth rear corners in the water along with the pod. The only thing in the water is the intake on my boat.
Hope that helps?

Well ... I guess you could call that carrying the nose, however, you're still ass in the water ... you would have to be to have the intake in the water to allow the pump to operate properly.
I am in agreement with Scott (steelcomp) here ... most tunnel jets are as wet as that (if they are running correctly).
IMO, jets and hydros should be in different sentences.
That is a bitchen pic though jethydro! how fast is she?

In that pic I ran a 10.90 with a broken valve spring so I really dont know what it will run? It keep`s getting faster with every pass. We`ll see in a week what it will do in Ok City if all goes as planed.

Well not to be arguementative but the water in the pic is undisturbed like most tunnel jets, ticking the water would leave some taces and I just don't see any. :yuk:
 But again it runs good and is holding its owen so what the Hell !!!!

Here's just two examples I have (without spending too much time digging up a bunch of pictures) of two jets that show what I'm talking about. Nothing in the water but the intake. That's how it's supposed to be. V-bottom jets are another example. There are no outside sponsons. Just riding on the keel.
It seems to me that with a hydro, the idea is to be tunning a surface prop, and that ideally, just the bottom half of the prop is in the water, and the main running surface is the sponsons. I might need some correction here, but that's my understanding. You can't "blow the tail" of a jet, simply by the nature of it's design. The intake, and the area of the intake, and especially the ride plate will always be the main running surface.
