I'm new to all of this.... I know the brand is Marlin... But does anyone know what the model is? I've done a bit of research and I think its a "sidewinder"?... can someone comfirm?

Everyone had that mold at one time. Cheetah used it, Ceebee Avenger
was using it, Shuster had it which means 10 more companies at least.
believe it or not, that boat is being built today with a 4 cyl Merc I/O
package someplace way up in northern California or Oregon or at least
about 5 years ago they were. Ps--Marlin is/was a company owned by
Kal Kustoms in Fremont California.

The A-K numeric equivalent is the month the boat was built. Thus a series "A001" reads as: A=January, "0"=2000, or the year it was built, and "01" equals the model year of 2001.
so it looks like it was laid up on august 6th 1987
still searching around to id the the first couple letters in the number wich is the manufatcors id
ELB = eliminator boats, for example

yup marlin was in white city oregon,i worked there for a short time.
