That happened about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Its called Assault on the Media. Whenever a live shot is broadcast, people try to get into the shot with signs and promote the Opie and Anthony show on XM radio. The guy holding the sign is a show intern, the guy flipping off the sign is Cabby from the Stern show. The two shows hate each other and I can't put enough emphasis on hate. You wouldn't know it if you listen to Stern because he's such a pussy that he just lets it happen. Anyway, the reporter lost it and was fired by 9 am that day. A few things have been said about the stunt from the media and papers, but just the usual gripes.

Its New York City and the O&A show is very popular there. Live shots go up all the time there and other cities. This shot was aired at 6am, right around the corner from where the show broadcasts. The show goes live at 7am. Guys from the show were on their way to work and noticed the tv van sitting out there and set out to do this. Or, people will call the show and say that there is a live shot happening at XYZ and they will send someone down to get into it.
