Spending the weekend freezing my ass off at Lake Pacific, what else? Did a Yard House run from Newport on Saturday, then ran down to San Diego Saturday afternoon until this morning, then back up to Newport and ran down to the Dana Point area. Had a great time in the salt. :D :D :D

Balboa was going off. We launched out of the Newport Dunes which made for a long trip out to open ocean but there was some great scenery along the way. Amazing houses and boats and all kinds of people. Good times.
And yes, I did see a few people I knew on Sunday. Guess it's a good thing my boat was invisible... LOL ;)

The 540 Hallett was there all weekend and on Saturday they had some boat (ship, more accurately) tied up off the dock that had to be double the size of the 540. It would have looked horrible in Herbst red, but looked unreal in white. Too bad there wasn't a place to land my helicopter or I might have checked it out more seriously... :idea: :D

The 540 Hallett was there all weekend and on Saturday they had some boat (ship, more accurately) tied up off the dock that had to be double the size of the 540. It would have looked horrible in Herbst red, but looked unreal in white. Too bad there wasn't a place to land my helicopter or I might have checked it out more seriously... :idea: :D
The rumor is that when they parked the Hatteras yacht there, the neighbors complained because it blocked their view.
So they bought the neighbor's house.

I knew exactly where I was and the 55 towing the trailer deal wasn't working out well. People will try and kill ya if you do that. I had a semi out in front that was hauling the mail so I let him get up a little ways in front of us as I figured they would see him as more of a menace than me. Besides, I had a Chippy on a bike pass me as I was doing 60 (I saw him rolling up from way back) and he didn't look twice at me, even with a cali plate on the trailer, az registration on the truck and boat. ;)
As far as the jersey and other presents, muchas gracias. I look forward to getting them and we need to get a good D-20 Havasu party lined up here soon. ;)
