Unbelievable scum of the earth would do something like this.
The illiterate chicken-scratching looks like "do you smell (something) (something) mononxsnide" (some retarded reference to carbon monoxide maybe?)
What a shame.

Exactly. Nobody who works hard to own a nice boat would do that to another boater...it's only the idiots who are jealous and/or have no respect for property.

Don't get me wrong, I was not suggesting or supporting the action, I can just imagine what someone with little common sense, enough anger and maybe too much alcohol in them just may decide to do. Obviously too coward to approach the situation head-on, if in fact that was the case.

got a great story on that,
sleeping on my boat one night, a drunk 20 something year old, tried to steel my rear light pole and flag, I saw him slip back into the water, with out pulling anchor I fired it up chased him down into some bushes on the shore line, took my light back, turned the boat around and said "now it's my turn" gave him a full dose of jet thrust into the weeds, I will never forget the HORRIFIED look in his eyes as I hit the gas, = SCARED STRAIGHT

It all depends on how long the boat was sunk !
We had sunk a boat for 5 hours at the dock in 5 ' of water during a storm .There wasn't an ounce of oil left in the engine . All the oil surfaced filling the engine fully with water.Same happened to the saddle gas tanks. If the moron who pulled the plug was concerned about carbon monoxide ,he/she sure did a great job for the environment  .Threaded plugs tigthened real good may be a better solution versus the rubber plugs.

I thought most of the big boats came with the threaded plugs these days. That looks like a fairly new Warlock.
There was a time when you could leave your keys and cooler full of beer in the boat and would not have to worry. It's just wrong to mess with somebody's property like that. Let's just hope the damage to the motor is minor. I have seen boat's completely under water one day and back on the water the next. But with all the computers and electronics in today's motors, who knows.

Maybe the owner launched without a plug, came right over and parked and when he came back the next day was concerned about getting slapped with a big haz-mat fine. I really want to believe that nobody would crawl into chest deep water not even knowing if the plug was rubber or metal screw and do that. Risk getting their ass beat. The scrawl in the sand was written after the oil got all over everything. It just makes more sense that the owner screwed up and forgot the plug. I have been boating for 25 years and I still forget sometimes. What really kills you is the launch and park. If you launch without the plug and stay in the boat, you just notice the floors getting wet and put it in. No harm, no foul. Every time you see these boats sunk at the docks it's the same story. Launch and park spells glug glug.

Theres no oil on the beach so I dont think that flys. Someone didn't like him running thi motor to keep-up the batteries I would think. Or maybe he parked in there spot.???? Atleast they didn't untie it & push it out to deeper water. You would like to catch the S.O.B. that did that.

First off, this totally sucks. If someone DID actually remove the plug at night, they really need to be caught and prosecuted or at least beat but we know niether of those will happen as there is virtually no way to catch whoever did it. Secondly, this is not the first time this has happend from what I understand to a boat in the channel. I heard that a frequent visitor with a 28 Eliminator Daytona experienced the same thing within the last year or so.

I was in the channel on saturday night after boating ALL day and when we went to leave the bilge was so focking full of water the engine was misfiring.
SOMEONE PULLED MY PLUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PIECES OF SH*T
How does a threaded plug unscrew itself ? Either someone took it ouy or it was an act of god.
About 1 hour before we left the channel at about 11:00 pm, I ran the bilge pump for 15 seconds and it was completely empty and NO water was coming in.
The only people that i can think did this were a couple of drunk guys next to us that were in a supposedly salvage titled boat and they said they were from Baker . I think the boat was a newer Cobra ( not talking trash here so dont start with me) but I was giving them the brush off because they were annoying so i dont know for sure. I never saw them do anything to my boat but they were the only ones that I remember being around.
Well anyway , I had 8 people on my boat and after bailing water out with plastic bowls and running the bilge we decided to make a run for Windsor wearing our life jackets. I dropped off all but 2 other people on the beach and we barely planed out but we made it to the ramp.
I never thought to check the plug because I dont take it out and the threaded ones dont fall out just sitting on the beach after 13 hours of boating saturday.

I am on topic. Who ever did this is a coward. If you got a problem with some one put it to them not their stuff. The monetary deal got to me cause I work my ass off for the nice stuff I have and I do give a Sh!t. If I see someone messing with anyones boat I step up Quick. I'm sure he didn't mean nothing by it. It just came out that way.
I bought a jet for less than 10 K I have a great time when I boat. If you need help me and my jet buddies are some of the first ones out there.
Seams like a there is a pattern of this type of crap happening. Time for a web cam. Then a lynching.

I called it wrong. Its just hard for me to believe someone could be such an a$hole. I think its time to install some type of surveillance equipment in the channel. If it was caught on tape we could bag em.

Well.....
You should be able to leave your boat in the Channel for a bit and feel safe about it.......
I always ask someone to keep an eye on it...... ;)
We.....(Me & USman105).....put our boats in at 06:30 and didn't come back until about 11:00......All I was worried about was my boat getting hit.....
Even with my 6 fenders out......
I have never left my boat in the water overnight anywhere where I wasn't nearby...........Unless it was in a slip........Which isn't any safer I guess, just a bit more inconvenient for the shiat bags to get to.
Also.....I thought that you would get towed or cited for leaving your boat in the Channel all night.....
Anyway.....It was sick to see in person...... :(
Later,
