Finally getting close to the end here are a few pics, engine has all new parts inside and some outside, like heads.

This is a picture of my modification to the four point mount. I put the angle bar to protect the bolts from elongating the holes in the stringer

This is the other side. Also my biggest worry was the oil pan hitting the two bolts sticking up from the pump housing. But thanks to Jim Brock at Cyclone Speed & Marine and his special jig I drilled new holes after plugging the old ones and everything fit perfectly.

Since this was taken the rest of the plumbing has been put on as well as the headers

and these are the new headers, no they didn't come from summit.

Now the next hurdle is to turn the key and see if it runs

:) :) Fired it up yesterday and it came up instantly. Ran for about 20 min had oil pressure between 50-55 all the time. No apparent leaks on the engine just some minor hose leaks(water). Now I need to play with the carbs and set the timing and recheck the valve lash settings and then see if all the time and $$$$ was worth all the work. What a relief to know it WORKS!!!
Thanks to all who helped along the way with this project.

Good job! I know how much hard work is involved with a project like yours!
Your hard work looks great, but the real pay-off will be when you take her for her maiden voyage!
