I saw the one at the southern entrance of the keys.....looked like a Nordic closed bow. Saw the dude getting questioned by the Sheriff. Wonder what happened!

The driver of the Nordic didn't know what happened. Neither did anyone else on the boat. They were all drunk and the driver went away with a .16% BAC.
Only after it was salvaged did they discover that the boat had been struck on the rear quarter, breaching the hull and making it sink. Hit and run with no suspect information. Those on the boat didn't even know it was hit. :hammerhea
A case where one drunk cancels out another one. Now we'll wait for the phone call from the guy who'll say. "Somebody hit my boat, but I didn't report it at the time. Now my insurance says they need a report."

Good damn what the heck, how does anyone not know they hit something. Even if you are drunk.

Sucks for the guy with the Nordic.. :( He's been around for a long time.. Beautiful boat too.
Kind of unbelieavable though that 2 people get into an accident and then decide that it's all good and just to go on their merry way. If someone hits my rig they aren't going anywhere until I get the financials sorted (at a minimum) and depending on the occaision the cops there..
