Lance has the yellow jersey signifying he's the leader in the Tour de France. While it's not important that he keep the yellow jersey for the rest of the race (just be in first on the last day) it is a very good sign.
BLOIS, France - Lance ArmstrongÂ’s Discovery Channel squad won the team time trial at the Tour de France on Tuesday, handing the six-time champion the yellow jersey as overall race leader.
The 33-year-old Texan led his squad to victory for the third straight year in the time trial, clocking 1 hour, 10 minutes, 39 seconds for the 41.85-mile trek from Tours to Blois. Team CSC was second.
“It’s always nice to be in yellow,” Armstrong said. “There are three or four flat stages coming, so it will not be easy to defend the jersey.”

We have a local race here in Redlands. But, this is the only time of year I really get into cycling. Fun to watch...plus I have a think about watching a cancer survivor do so well.

Back in in the Yellow jersey
Armstrong powers away from rivals on mountainsAssociated Press
COURCHEVEL, France -- Two faces. One was Lance Armstrong's, steely but almost serene as he pedaled furiously in the thin mountain air. The other was a mask of pain worn by Jan Ullrich, his great German rival trailing farther and farther behind.
Armstrong took a giant step toward a seventh consecutive Tour de France victory with a dominant ride Tuesday on the first Alpine climb of this year's race, retaking the overall lead -- which he could hold all the way to the finish in Paris on July 24.

Lance is the most drug tested athelete in history.
What he has acomplished is trully amazing.
Also he has domminated a race that essentially is one country's national pride. When you think about America's relationship with France, It is a little refreshing that politic's take a back seat. (even of Kerry rode in a chase car)
Discovery Science channel has been running a program showing many of the inside training & testing the team is doing. I highly recomend waching that show before judging one of the greatest atheletes ever.
