You wouldn't happen to know where I can get a XR drive do you?

Great hulshot, I will need pushrods too. I ordered the cam this afternoon, but they have to grind it, so I could probably still cancel. What is the brand and cam specs. If the cam is not what I need would you still sell the lifters and push rods seperate? Email me a price and I'll get back with you.
Thanks, Scott
I don't have any leads on a XR drive, but its posted now, so someone will probably chime in with some help.

wsm9808, The cam is is stamped (crane HR-244-25-12 IG98-3-95) . I have no stinkin clue what some of these numbers are or what they mean. I looked through the original build sheet and found the Crane Part # It is Crane 139641 and the lifters are Crane 13532. The push rods are Crane 13628 I think you can call crane to find out or maybe Paul Pfaff since they built it back in the day. I know the power it made because I still have the dyno sheets. I pulled it out to install a solid cam to make more power. This cam pulled very hard to 5900 and stoped at 6100/6200. I still even have the springs for that cam. I ran this motor in a 22 Daytona that ran 112 with this cam with 4 people. It has a good idle and hard midrange charge.
Let me know and we'll hook up.

I'm turning 5200rpm now and expect to turn 5800 to 6000 with the new blower, so your cam would be very close to what I need. I have a crane catalog at work and will look up the numbers in the morning. My email is wsm9808@msn.com and phone # 915-520-9933, 9 to 6 central time.
Thanks
Scott

We were talking to George at Clay Smith about this last night and apparently the largest lifter manufacturer in the the world (I think it was Johnson lifter or something like that) let Federal Mogul run a little late on their payments and then FM went belly up without paying so the lifter company had to file for reorg or something like that. Long story short, they're not allowed to conduct business until it is worked out and everyone is hurting for lifters. Apparently GM, Ford, Mopar all use these guys for the production motors as well.

Hulshot, I checked the crane catalog, and the lifters# and the pushrods# are the ones I need. I could not find the 139641 cam # but they list a 139741 and a 139651. Maybe a type error for your cam number? Anyway, I would be interested in anything from just the lifters to the whole package with springs and all. Get it touch or get me your phone number.
Thanks, Scott
The lifter company was Johnson, according to my regular wearhouse supplier, they said the company is operating again and parts should start to trickle out in a oldest order first plan in about 2 weeks, but it could be as late as september before available everywhere. I,ve got a new blower and everything ready to go together for my new motor. So I would like to get some lifters so I can go play in a couple of weeks.
