Hey guys what gears ya runnin in your hydro, and about how many hp and are you pushin' and mph if you know. I have a few set of gears and im to high geared right now at 25% with 400-450 i think it should be around 18% but i plan on running a blower and trying to get up around 600-650 next season and im wondering if the 25's will be too high too low or just right then, becusae i need to sell beaverfab my others either 25 or 37's !!! Beaver if when you read this, hang tight when i figure what i need i will sell you the others, 12 degree.

I am running 37's in my Kurtis 500. A 3 blade cleaver for a prop also. The combo was high gear in a pro gas hydro and loads my motor big time till past half track. I get 124-130 every pass at Firebird. The motor is a blown injected 392 on alcohol. The motor has all the parts for an all iron fuel engine. To make the motor last I put a 510 lift solid cam with low duration. So hp..I'm not sure. But it does the 9 sec quarter.
Second hydro is a Mize shovel nose with an injected BBC on alcohol also. It has 18's in the box and a big 2 blade cleaver. It ran 10.0's at 110 before injection was added. It had a 468 with a 628 solid cam and 12.5:1 compression on race gas. We tried 22's in it and it slowed down a couple mph along with a tenth off the et. Its got a 496 with injection now and 13.5:1. We also run 10% in it when in NM, so I dont know what the hp is but over 700 somewhere on just alcohol. This weekend is a race, so I'm sure I'll be upping the gear ratio when its dialed in.
Hope that helps.

Tryin like hell, runin low on funds, saving for tablerock, are U still interested in the 37's 12 degree, They are nice, and i could use the money. You know what they are worth. In your honest opinion should i hang on to them if im going up to 600-650 horse later with a 71 sanger shovelnose or will the 25's be right.
