What is a good angle to start with for ride plate angle on my 21' eliminator daytona?
I have it up about 3 degrees now.

Mine is set at 2degrees up in my 19' Daytona. Seems to work very well. Rides nice with no surprises :)

I always heard 3^ was the starting point and move down from there.

A 21' might like the 3 degree but I will stick with 2. :D

It depends on nozzle diameter, nozzle angle to keel, type of intake grate,
bottom (keel) of boat, weight of boat H/P of motor.
I set the original 19 Daytona up for Bob Leach at 2.5 degrees up from keel.
That was a flat keel though, back then (1976) and I am sure that all the JET
BOAT GODS now have different ideas. :D
