I am ready to purchase an Imco drive shower for a Bravo1x and was wondering which style is the best? They have their standard full cap style, or they have a "new" Triangle style that mounts with stand off's and has the new style angled pick up. Talked to Ron at Imco in Boulder City, Nv. and he says the new Triangle with the angled pick up is the way to go??? Just wanted to hear some feedback from you all. Thanks.....

I like the look of the full cap. Don't know which one would work better though.

I hear they all work well. I went with the cap type. I like the look and it is also an extra "step" for people boarding. They all seemed about the same $, so I went for the bling.

Most (me too) don't like the pipe wrap one. While they may be effective, I think they look weird! :rollside:
I had the triangle, got a new drive and the cap style was thrown in for free.
From what I read on Eddie Marine before bought the first, the cap style can interfere w/external steering. That's why the triangle goodie was made. Both do the same thing.

I installed the Halo this weekend and ran it, seems to do a good job, less mineral deposit on the drive after a weekend of blasting around.

That looks really good. Now you need to make one with a dual pick up, so if you allready have a Simrek type with tha dual pickups through the cav plate, your's can be a direct replacement.
