This one jumped up and bit me on the 210 near Sunland Blvd. last week. It's about 36" long, 8"wide, 2" thick and weighed about 20lbs. Luckily I was wearing sun glasses and nobody was riding shotgun because the entire inside of the truck was covered in glass.

This is how it was until I pulled it off the window. You can see where it clipped the hood just above the right headlight. It made one hell of a sound when it hit.

I saw it for a split second and before I could react the windshield was done.
This is the pasanger seat.

The entire inside of the truck, front and rear was covered in glass. I even found glass inside the red lunch box when I opened it.:hammer2:

I hit one once in my motorhome headed to Vegas. It wrapped around the exhaust just in front of the rear wheelsand when the tires got to it it pulled the exhaust around the drive shaft and bent that. It was about 10 MPH to Beatty and a tow to Vegas in the morning.

I had the same thing happen to me coming back from Topock on the 40 last year. Except I did have a passenger who was not wearing a shirt. He was a bloody mess!

Maybe you should have been out flying your planes and you could of avoided that road gator.
