This guy (which one of you chevy wannabes is it?) was selling an olds 454 powered challenger on ebay. Where did that extra cube go? If I de-stoke mine one cubic inch, do I loose the oiling system problem? So many questions...come on which one of you bought it.

Its not an oiling system problem, its a drainback problem.

Well If the drainback holes aren't considered part of the lubrication (oiling) system, I guess I'll just plug mine see if everything works ok without them. What the hell other system would you consider them to be part of?
Anyway, I was just thought the whole Olds 454 thing was kinda funny, not really a seroius post, kinda ment to be smart assy. I guess I should have added some :) :)
But it does look like it would be a cool project boat though.

Hmmmmm Gotta go check my 454 to see if I got a genuine Chevy or an Olds. No, waitaminuite, I been spinning mine at 5300 on Nitrous since 1979 and it hasn't starved a bearing or blown all the rods yet. I must have the real deal. :p

well, when you go out on the internet and ridicule someone for a typo, you better make sure you don't make one also......
You typed in as the topic "where do I get and Olds 454" don't you think it would have been better to use the proper word in there? :hammerhea :D

It's all in the marketing...Wouldn't you spend more on a 454 than a 455??

I was waiting for someone to point out that typo I made. But it's in his ad in like four places, which made me think it's not a typo.
I saw my typo right as I was hitting the Submitt button, but too late to re-act. But you're right, That was pretty un-smooth of me. Never drink and post! Bad Bad Bad!
