I'm close to being a Grandpa!

My daughter-in-law is in the birthing center as we speak. She was due on the 5th and they decided to induce labor today. So as soon as I can get out of work, it looks like I'll be heading to the hospital as well.
This is my first grandchild and we know it's going to be a boy.

Congratulations. We've got our first granddaughter 10 months ago and she's had me wrapped around her finger ever since.
Wouldn't trade it for the world.

Conner Douglas made his appearance at 9:23 last night and gave us a scare, cause his heart rate started dropping and the cord was wrapped around his neck. He seems to have come out of it OK though.
Here's a picture of me and the little guy when I finally got to hold him at 12:50 this morning.
If you'll notice the shirt, you'll see where I'm heading him and why I won't have to specifically say "jet boat" in this post! :D

I have 5 Grand Kids, 2 Boy's 19 & 2 1/2 years, 3 Girls 16, 12, & 10 months.
Each is my best friend. All are river rats, 3 are into Dirt Bikes, the fourth 2 1/2 yr old, This kid is a NUT on Boats & Sharks now, so we just gave him his first dirt bike a Yamaha 60, which my 16 year old granddaughter won her first race on @ Adlanto when she was 5 yrs old. I just bought a Dune Buggy to get back out in the desert with the 19 year old and take the others.
God had a good plan for the older folks and that was Grand Kids to keep you young and it works. Everyday they will amaze you. ENJOY the Love.
