Do you want to know how far apart they are in a boat or the measurements of the wood itself?
Cheers

Well, heres the deal. I just bought a 1979 Challenger 18.5 and the sringers are 24". On my old baja they where about 26". I want to get my 460 in this new boat asap and want to have this all measured out.

I'd highly recommend going to a rail mount like you have pictured. I didn't use HTP's (Duane's) mount setup, but it looks like a nice (complete) setup.
Mine was a homemade deal, and although it took some finaggling to get it in, I'm real happy with the results.
My rails went in even with the top of the stringers so I was able to fit the engine and get it nice n centered. Whatever extra plate/mount there was, trimmed off afterwards.
Definitely no set spacing for stringers from one type of boat to another (that I've seen anyway).
