I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a new truck. I was wondering what you got and how much did you save?

Hey Boozer, I'm thinking about another 4x4. Does Chevy make something along the line of a extra cab Ranger 4x4? (my last small truck). Just need a smaller hunting vehicle and don't really want a 1/2 ton size.
Whaddaya got and how much?
Rio
Ps...are you still working for PL or is Topless your boss now?
Buy a Yamaha Rhino they are the best 4x4's in the world

Don't work for Jay anymore but I still pimp for him because he does give people the best deals with least bullsh*t PERIOD.
What you're looking for is a Chevy Colorado. Available in standard, extended and 4 door. Pretty sweet trucks and they have an available 5 cylinder engine that flat out kicks ass. It has comparable power to a V6 but gets 4 banger gas mileage. I'm actually considering getting one for myself.

I just bought an Envoy Denali for the wife. 5.3 V8 300HP. Like an Escalade on the inside.
Got it for 30K after GMS and $2500 cash back. Sweet deal.

Bought 05 2500 crew cab duramax employee pricing saved a ton. I know most of the 2500 duramaxs went quick during the GM sale locally.
my boating buddy bought an 05 Yukon Denali XL and reallly saved a butt load.

Call Jason Holley at Selman, I am on my fourth Chevy truck with him and woudn't buy from anybody else. Easy over the phone deals. 714-633-3521. Photoglo couldn't touch my crew cab deal 6 months ago when I bought, it's worth a call. Oh btw I bought a loaded Tahoe and saved about $10,000 with the GM pricing.

Got an 05 Chevy Subruban, every option except the GPS system, saved a TON of dough! Call Jay Photoglou, easiest vehicle pruchasing transaction ever! I never even set foot in the dealrship and the suburban was delivered to me at my house! As long as I am buying a Chevy and Jay is selling them, he is who I will buy from! And if he starts selling something else, I'll buy that from him as well!

What is this employee discount thing I keep hearing about?
Is it a "non negotional" discount where you can take it or leave it?
Is it really that much of a discount??

The price is bottom line. Take it or leave it. However, considering people are getting $45K vehicles for $30K I'd say you'd be a fool NOT to take it.

Exactly! How can you pass that up if you know you're gonna be in the market for one. We couldn't! 6 months from now we'd be kicking our self in the A$$! :D

I agree! I had a '99 suburban with 141k miles on it. Was not looking to get a new suburban, but at the prices that I was quoted, I could not pass it up. I got a 6 year newer vehicle with a bigger and better engine and all the bells and whistles, sunroof, DVD system, leather seats, second row buckets, everything but the GPS system, for only $4k more than I paid for my '99!

We got lucky and sold ours private party to a friend for $1500 more than the dealer was going to give us for a 2003 2500HD Crew Cab Gas so I'd suggest trying to sell private party if you can, if not, they will give blue book I think... but don't hold me to it, that's what they were going to give at our dealership we are buying the truck from.

I was at Citrus Ford looking at trucks last Friday and I was talking to the guy I buy my trucks from and he told me, if I was considering trading in my 2002 truck be prepared to take a big hit on my trade in.
