Who Tows with 22" Wheels?

I have a 1500 Crew Cab chevy on 22s with 305-40 Nittos--I can usually been seen towing Dr Margs 25 Howard Bullet. Never had a problem--think they are a perfect size :)

While my rims are only 17" my tires are 35" and I tow my Ultra 24 Stealth just fine with my 1500. Of course it's geared at 4.80

1500 Crewcab on 22's Rozzi Switch with 305/45 Toyos. Tow a 28' Cat or 27' Advantage Victory with no problems. Lifted the front of the truck 1.25", tires do rub at near full lock, plus I had to roll the lip of the fender so it doesnt cut the tire when the suspension is fully compressed. I had to have the biggest tire they make as I wanted to stay away from a super low-pro tire.

305/45/22 toyo has one of the highest tow ratings if you are looking for the low profile stuff! This is my third GM SUV with 22 inch rims. Always have towed a 25-27 foot boat with no problems.

I have 22's on mine and tow a 27 deckboat with no problems. I did get 45 series tires though, which is a total tire diameter of around 33 inches. They are big...
