I Know Its About 1hr 30min From Washington Dc. I Live In Northern Va. Check Out Anna Point Marinia Online Or The Lighthouse At Lake Anna. Both I Beleive Have A Website.

Look for Mineral, Va. on your map.
I just got reservations tonight at the Lighthouse (540-895-5249) for that weekend,
Three rooms left, about $100 and change per nite...$20 a night more than the lodge.
That's not where the party is at, that's about three miles up the road at the lodge, but that is where I prefer to stay, great rooms, right on the water, view of the lake and the boat ramp is right out front.
But ya' know, I'm an old f***er ;)

FYI: Charlie Turner (Red and White Checkmate jet) is roasting 2 pigs for us at Jacks place on Sept 17th. The pigs will be done North Carolina Style. Covered dishes for sides are welcomed; and definately bring your appetite!

If you'r from Cecil County, and your going to anna, what do you say we covoy down there. I have never be there and it sound's like you have. How long of a ride is it. I dont have a room yet but I'm calling tomarow. I think it would be cool to pull two boats down i95 for everyone to look at.

Lake Anna is about 3 hours south of PortDeposit MD. It is located between Fredricksburg and Richmond VA.
We plan on leaving on Friday morning around 10:00 or so.

I forgot to call the lodge today, I hope they still have room's left. I thought the ride there would be a lot longer. Map quest said it was like 5 hours from Philly. and I know I'm like 30 mins. south of there. Glad to hear it aint that far!

I'm just south of Center City (Philly) and north of the Delaware state line.
Takes me 4 hrs (depending on DC traffic :yuk: ) 220 miles from my door to the lake motel.
