My pops has a 28 foot partybarge....Its only 3 years old and the pontoons( or some call them logs) are looking like shiat.....anybody know of any good cleaners for them logs....a polish or anything....i've tried most things and well its a pain in the ass...thank you ***boaters.....

They're aluminum...try some Mothers...it's always worked on rims.
(of course it's much easier tellin someone about how to get it done than doing it yourself...)

Try this page, I have used this on all types of metal but it works great on aluminum.

There is a product called "TOONBRITE" .It is not a polish but a chemical cleaner(acid) I used it on my 25 foot 2005 party barge and it worked good. If its really dirty you may have to do it a couple of times.It is available a stores that sell pontoon boats and I think Overtons and West Marine.

If they are aluminum and you you want to shine them either Mothers Polish or Master Formula Metal Gloss. They are the ones at the shows with a beer keg that looks like it was chromed. www.metalgloss.com ,they are in Anaheim.
