I had no problem getting my '75 Spectra 20 insured. 455 Olds, Jet.
Progressive. Full coverage, agreed value of $8,500. About $215 per year. Did the whole thing on-line.

We use AAA for our 78 Hallett minidaycruiser. What is your exhaust like? They asked where I boated. They did not want people who predominantly went to Parker, but would insure us on the occassions that we went there (about once a year). We have full coverage for 10K and liability up to 500K. It's around $250-$275 a year.
thats just wrong... with full coverage on my late 60s 16ft jet with TT agreed value ~7 k( getting closer to compleation every day) I was qouted 1200 even with 3 auto s, renters. No at fualt ( been rearended 3 time in last 3 years) or ticks.

I have a 1970 Hallett V-drive. I use Progressive. You need to do a stated value type policy because it is hard to determine the value of older boats like these. If you say it's worth 10,000 then they will adjust the premiums to reflect that.
At least that was my take on it.

Yep, I had to provide photos to State Farm for the boat and trailer. No issues though. Hit Arizona two years ago with 7K damage. No increase in rates. Going to be hard to beat that.

Yup. I have used them for some of my customers. Once they wrote an Amphicar. Had 2 policies one for land and one for water.

I SUPPOSE I COULD TELL THEM I HAVE A HAMSTER ENGINE IN IT, AND THEY WOULD HAVE INSURED ME. BUT IN THE EVENT OF A CLAIM, I'd BE SCREWED... THE FIRST THING THEY LOOK AT IS "HOW CAN WE NOT HAVE TO PAY THIS GUY", AND IF YOU FIBBED ON THE POWER OR COMPONENTS, YOU're MAKING IT REAL EASY FOR 'EM...

I've just insured a 1959 Campbell through Hagerty Insurance in Michigan.
Sent pix, stated HP as 300 and have full unristricted use coverage for $357 a year. I used my friend as agent (Boat Insurance Agency in Seattle, Neal Booth (800) 828-2446. Good luck!
