Alright heres my force 32 cat. I took these photos today. Unfortunatly only a couple of them came out. ETA is 6 weeks. Should be a fun ride.

Im staying closedbow on this one as I'd like to do a few ocean runs. Thanks for the compliments. It took me a week and 200 drawings to come up with that damn scheme. Then I had to wait it out and hope it looked good on the boat. But Im definitly pleased.

Unleashedclothing (http://www.unleashedclothing.com) devil That's a stand out design man. It's kinda funny because when you look at the finished design you don't think it's that hard but when you have to come up with the design it's about 300 times harder than you ever thought.

You got that right Phat Kat. Im telling you I even asked a couple of guys on the board if they had any suggestions cause I was having such a hard time. In the end though it came down to bloodshot eyes and just saying screw it I think this will look good.

Freakin awesome. Can't wait to see it all rigged and ready to fly by the sandbar. Are you going to match the sick boat with a killer custom trailer? Very nice. And yeah, when I order my first custom boat, I hope that I can be happy with the graphics within a week and 200 sketches, that would be amazing. Tough job- well done. It took me 3 weeks just to design my pool and spa--and it doesn't even involve color. I'm screwed :rolleyes:

Thanks for all the compliments. Brad Lagman of Quarter mile performance is building my motors. We are going with twin 598's as sandbar mike mentioned. Hey 24rodjr, Im definitly lining up a ride for you once I have that puppy. Windy you'll be next. Not sure if I will take it to Parker so you may have to come to Havasu. Charley are you going to do that poker run up in Sacremento this year. I think I may do it for a change of pace. I was at the Tahoe poker run last year and it was beautiful.

We stayed in the keys. They have alot of houses for rent there that have there own slips. Im still debating weather or not we are going as its such a long tow. It would be nice though.

The problems worked out. :cool: I have only been to the cabins once, but it is on the California side close to the dealer out there that sells Scarabs. They also have racked storage. I can't think of the name of the place.
We were thinking of going but like you said it is a long tow. There is a buoy in front of the cabin but they have never had a real large boat on it, and with the weather up there I don't want to wake up and find the boat on the beach.

Well, even though you have a cabin there I would consider getting a place in the keys. most are reasonable and almost all have there own slips. Plus its protected as its in an inlet. Last year the weather was absolutely perfect, I wished I would have had my boat though. I rented a couple of little 20 foot rinkers for the whole family. Was definitly fun. I just happened upon the poker run that was there. Alot of nice boats.

I hear ya, Im very comfortable when im driving but I would have the same reaction Jen did if someone else were driving. Its always a good feeling when you're in the drivers seat. I hate being in the passenger seat wondering what move the driver is going to make next and if he sees so and so coming up on the left or that jet skier in front or that huge wake etc. So the whiteknuckling is understandable. I'll keep you posted on dates etc. if I plan on going to any of them. By the way your boat looked badass when you took off at the start.

To make a long story short..
Bought the boat for christmas...
Never got a chance to test drive it(Big Mistake)
It was delivered by DCB employee and our boat was taken back as a trade in...
After a couple of weeks we took her out to test drive her..
Ran for about half a hour and was towed back in..
After a little over a week of no sleep and going back and forth between Dave and the Owner and savage marine (a go between) The former owner agreed to have our mechanic fix it and he would pay for it.
As it turn out, He had paid someone here in town a lot of money to freshen up the motors, but all the work was done wrong. They were old tired motors. My hats off to the owner for doing the right thing, We really feel he was a victim in this whole thing as well. He is a stand up guy and not many guys would do what he did without the courts getting involved.
I also feel Dave at DCB had alot to do with making this thing right. The owner is buying the first 29 out of the mold from DCB(The white one with the dick vale paint job) SO hopefully Dave is giving him a deal on some of the options to make up for it.
The motor are 580 c.i. with 1071 mooneyham blowers. With dual 1050 dominators. It has stelling offset boxes, with built bravo one drives.
The boat ran 120+ with naturally aspirated 510's, It would not surprise me if we see 130+

Yeah, my girl and I were down there killing time one day and saw his mobile home (golf cart matches the boat, pretty sweet), he wasn't there but his neighbors were all having a BBQ and said what a nice guy he is. We will definitely have to keep an eye out for ya, I've still been meaning to catch up with you and hang. My girl and I actually just moved to Henderson and I know how much you like to come to Vegas so give me a call next time you're out here.

Thanks, I have not driven one yet but I had the chance of being in one in last years poker run. Very smooth and stable. accelerates like a bullet. Really nice ride. Can't wait to get behind the wheel. Should be fun.

The boat is awesome. We had one out in the Long Island Sound last weekend. SMOOOOOTH as silk with seat pinning acceleration. The water was pretty nasty too. We had the pleasure of runnimg it against a new cigarette Gladiator with twin 700 HP Zule Motors. We were dead even at 102 and about to pass when we lost a hydraulic line on one of the drives and had to shut her down. The Cig had a substantial lead(whilre it was at full throttle)to start and we caught it as it passed us while we were doing approximately 45 MPH. The boat was quite impressive. Good luck with yours it looks great.

I actually talked to Dano right after his trip to NY. He said the water was nasty. But its good to hear you opened her up in nasty water like that. I know he said it likes to run on top of the swells. Always have to be careful in that type of water though. I was going to have the boat layed up lighter than usual for more speed but decided to do the heavier layup just incase I take her in the ocean. Should be fun.

PS...Dano and John might be back to run the New York City Poker Run. If all goes well we will have two 32's, a 29 with 2.5's and a 26 with a 525HP / ITS in the event. Should be a blast!
