Well its alomst about time to fire up the new motor. Nervousness is setting in as I type. I sure hope everything goes well. I will light her in about 1 hour from now. Its been a long bumpy road. Hell I havent had sleep since last month worring about this damn boat. Now its 95% done. Wish me luck. I will post results tonight;) If everything goes well I will be at the lake this weekend;)

the well is that he didnt fire. i guess he had all the little things that tend to get forgten, well he forgot them. i guess he will be back at it tonite.

Ditto on the good luck from Washington! I fired mine up last week, it took about 2 revolutions, and the cacklefest was had. I run a roller, no cam breakin required, and total seal rings. But man you get NERVOUS!

WELLLLLLLLL.............. I stayed up all damn night trying to fire her up and like ty said it.....all those F***ing odds and ends things kept adding up. I was triple checking everything and found a few things that needed attention.I just want it to go flawless so I checked everything 3 times. I was so upset that I threw up twice! I then said F*** it and went to bed. I just came home from work on lunch to fire her up and 2 plug wires were too short :mad: :mad: :mad: Well everything is set to run except 2 plug wires. I will get them at work and run her right when I get home;) I am so nervous right now! I cant even think straight........ I will let you guys know this afternoon;) I would have posted last night but I was too upset.

calm down 396 take a fiver its just a engine and boat(even though u have a ton of work in it allready) i understand but u got to take it easy. it will all work out chief. i am sure u did a great job on it and will be gettin it wet in a week or two. have fun.
