What kind of total timing number is appropriate for a mild 460? It has a stock bottom end, Comp Magnum cam, MSD ignition (box and distributor), victor intake, 850 DP carb.
I'm thinking somewhere in the low 30's (degrees of total timing BTDC), but don't have experience with Fords.
Any advice is appreciated. (good advice is preferred).

I'm running 32, but I've heard others run as high as 34 or 36. I don't have any kind of retard boxes for timing, so even with the nitrous (150 shot) I'm running the same 32.
Starts with the bump of a key, and doesn't (run-on) when shutdown.
I've scoped (snake optics with a light) the piston tops and combustion chambers, checked spark plugs immediately after a full throttle run (no idle afterwards), and everything looks good.

I run my 460 at 16 initial 34 full advance, all in by 3000. I arrived at 34 degrees by starting at 32 and using GPS to see were more advance stopped making a MPH increase, no gain after 34 degrees.
